Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the Rogue Physio website collects and what happens to it. It is deliberately narrow.

Health information you give us as a patient — during a visit, in your chart, or through the scheduling system — is governed by HIPAA and by our Notice of Privacy Practices, not by this page.

Information you choose to send us

The contact form asks for your name, email address, phone number, and a message. When you submit it, that information is emailed to Rogue Physio staff and saved to a private spreadsheet in the practice’s Google account so no enquiry gets lost.

There is no automatic deletion schedule — messages stay in that spreadsheet until we remove them. If you would like yours deleted, just ask, and we will. See asking us to delete something below.

Please do not use the contact form to send detailed medical information. Ordinary email is not a secure channel. Tell us you would like to talk and we will call you.

The form is protected by a hidden field that automated spam bots fill in and people never see. If it is filled in, the submission is silently discarded.

Information collected automatically

We count a small number of anonymous actions so we can tell whether the site is doing its job — for example, how many people clicked “Book an Appointment.” For each of those actions we record exactly four things:

• the name of the action, from a fixed list;
• the page path it happened on;
• whether the screen was phone, tablet, or desktop sized;
• the time.

We do not record your IP address, not even in hashed form. We do not record your browser’s user agent, we do not set a cookie or session identifier, and we do not capture anything you typed. There is no way for us to connect one of these counts back to you, or to link two of them together as the same visit.

This is a deliberate design decision, not an oversight. Knowing that a specific person viewed a specific condition page would be health-related information about that person, and we have chosen not to be able to know it.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies. It stores nothing in your browser’s local storage. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Advertising and social media

There is no Meta Pixel, no Google Ads conversion tag, no tag manager, no chat widget, no session-recording tool, and no advertising or remarketing tracker of any kind on this site. We do not sell or share visitor information with advertisers.

Other companies involved in running the site

Cloudflare

Hosts the website and delivers it to your browser. Like any web host it processes your IP address in order to serve the page and to block attacks. It also provides us with privacy-focused, cookieless visit counts.

Google Fonts

The site’s two typefaces are loaded from Google’s font service, which means your browser makes a request to Google and Google sees your IP address.

Google Workspace

Delivers contact-form notifications to the practice and stores them in the practice’s spreadsheet.

PromptEMR

Runs the online scheduling system. “Book an Appointment” takes you to their website, which has its own privacy policy and is not covered by this one.

Instagram

Two pages include a clinic video. Nothing loads from Instagram until you press play; if you do, Instagram’s player loads and Meta will see that request. If you would rather it did not, do not press play.

Children

This website is aimed at adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children through it.

Questions, or asking us to delete something

If you sent us a message through this site and want it removed, or you have a question about this policy, call the clinic on +1 (865) 213-2744 and ask for the practice manager. We will confirm what we hold and remove it on request.

Requests about your patient records are handled differently and are covered by the Notice of Privacy Practices.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
